Inspired by my own journey through mental health challenges and the healing power of movement, music, and art, I want to create a space where authenticity and acceptance are at the heart of everything we do.

<div>Years ago, I lost my sense of self and struggled to find a place where I belonged. It was a group of fellow misfits—my chosen family—who helped me rediscover dance and, with it, my confidence and joy. That experience showed me how powerful a supportive community can be, and I want to offer that same sense of belonging to others.

<div>Rhythm &amp; Roots Studio will offer fitness and dance classes, special playtime adventure classes for stay-at-home parents, daily events partnering with local nonprofits to raise awareness for important causes, and also provide a platform for local artists to showcase their work through gallery events and live music.

<div>One of my core values is to provide and option for steady employment and benefits for artists, instructors, and staff—ensuring that everyone who contributes to our community feels secure, valued, and heard.

<div>Recently, Ron and Tyra experienced not one but two burglaries at their store. They had their first break-in on Thursday, 11/07, and a repeat break-in while the windows were waiting to be replaced on Sunday night. The burglar managed to get away with cash, lottery tickets, and cigarettes. <strong>This is proving to be a very costly situation for Ron and Tyra due to damages and deductibles as well as recouping their losses.</strong>

<div>If you have ever visited the store, you have witnessed firsthand how warm and inviting both Ron and Tyra are. <strong>They are friends of this community and do what they can to help others all the time.</strong> Now they could use a little help from the community during their time of need.

<div>Emmanuel was born and raised to Petrina and Vaughn. He grew up in Lynn with his siblings Elijah and Olivia. At the age of 4, he started school at Edgewood Elementary. He graduated 8th grade at Edgewood, went to GBA for his freshman, sophomore and junior year, and graduated high school at South Lancaster Academy. He continued his college education at Oakwood University, with aspirations of becoming a lawyer.

<div>For those who knew Emmanuel, his smile and laughter will be forever engraved in their hearts. He had a way of showing care and love to everyone he came across. He was selfless in his actions, always putting others before himself. He asked you how your day went, offered help in any way he could, and always assured you that everything will be alright.
</div>

<div>We know the community that Emmanuel fostered was strong. We ask that everyone keep his friends and family in their prayers. We know he wants to be remembered for all of the laughs and smiles he distributed to all the lives he touched. Our family is forever grateful for the endless support you have shown us in this difficult time.

<div>Due to this unforeseen accident, Emmanuel’s college expenses still remain open. He was a very dedicated young man and worked very hard to support his parents in lowering the tuition balance. We ask for your continued support to help our family get back on our feet again.

<div>Emmanuel is currently in Alabama and we are hoping to bring him back within the coming days. Our family needs all the support we can get so we are able to bring him back to Massachusetts and give Emmanuel the beautiful service and burial he deserves.
