Nathan is well into his ninth year of Boy Scouting, and it’s finally time for him to begin his Eagle Scout Service Project. The Eagle rank is the highest achievement in Scouting with less than 0.3% of the eligible population earning this distinguished accomplishment. Intended to enhance their organizational leadership, only about 6% of scouts go on to complete their Eagle project and rank requirements.
For Nathan’s project, he plans to assist in the renovation of The Bridge Church’s outdoor worship area. Specifically, they’ve ask him to build two garden benches for church members to use during their prayer time or other outside events.
These benches will need to be constructed of durable recycled plastic lumber which is uniquely suited for outdoor elements. Most local vendors do not sell this material, so Nathan plans to order the materials and have them shipped to his building site.
Nathan is graciously asking for monetary donations so that he can purchase this expensive lumber material along with other necessary supplies.
If you are able, please help Nathan collect the funds that he needs to get started on his Eagle Service Project. He is aiming for a May completion.
