Hey Fam! FIRST...MISSY HAS NO IDEA IM DOING THIS!
I'm hoping you and all your families and friends are well in body, mind, and spirit!
Many of you know that Missy went through a heartbreaking loss when Ian passed away a few years ago. The love, prayers, and support you shared with her during that time meant more than words can say — SHE TOLD ME SO!
Since his transition, Missy has carried a vision of honoring Ian’s life and the love he gave so freely. One moment that truly captures his spirit was when he gave a pair of sneakers to a young brother who was being picked on for not having the latest shoes. (You know how cruel kids can be!) Ian knew what it meant for that young man to feel seen and included.
Out of this spirit, Missy is starting a foundation that will continue Ian’s legacy of love — a movement that provides young people with access to the everyday things that help them feel “normal,” like clothing, haircuts, nails, and other items that too often divide or stigmatize. Without them, kids can face unnecessary isolation and social trauma. With them, young people can feel like they belong, freeing their hearts and minds to imagine who they can become.
✨ Here’s where we come in. Let’s help Missy get this foundation off the ground so she can start helping kids this school year. Together, we can make sure young people in our community don’t have to carry the weight of social stigma — they deserve to feel included, supported, and loved.
She only needs $777 to get it done. she want to ANNOUNCE THE FORMATION BY 09/30!!!
Let's help! We will ensure all of you are signed up to receive information about the launch and other ways you can help in the future!
Every contribution, big or small, helps launch this movement and carry Ian’s light forward into the lives of children who deserve it!
