Hello! My name is Rachel Elliott-Golema, and I’m the Founder and Executive Director of Lyon’s Mane Stage, a brand-new nonprofit community theater in South Lyon, Michigan. I created Lyon’s Mane Stage because I believe community thrives when there are many different creative spaces—places where people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can come together to learn, perform, grow, and shine.

The Mission

At Lyon’s Mane Stage, we believe everyone deserves their moment to roar. From apex actors to curtain-call cubs, we create a space where stories thrive and the whole pride shines. Whether it’s the quiet canopy where tech cues flicker or the vibrant underbrush of costumes and props, every branch helps bring the theater to life.

Lyon’s Mane Stage strives to add to South Lyon’s arts landscape by nurturing talent across generations and abilities, offering enriching theatrical experiences that entertain, educate, and unite our Michigan community.
