At Hippocampus Theatrics, we dive into the depths of human experience where memory and imagination meet. Our mission is to be an artistic haven for St. Louis—a professional, nomadic ensemble that welcomes audiences and artists of all backgrounds, generations, and identities to explore the rich tapestry of theatre. To bring this vision to life, we are currently seeking founding support to fund our inaugural production this August (Jonathan Harvey's Beautiful Thing) as part of STL Fringe Fest, and our formal transition into a nonprofit theatre company.

Your initial support is the lifeblood of our formation. Every contribution goes directly toward our inaugural production, funding the sets, scripts, and professional artists that will bring our first site-specific performance to life. It also helps us secure venues across St. Louis and transform them into immersive worlds, and finalizes our 501(c)(3) status to ensure Hippocampus remains a permanent, sustainable fixture in the local arts community.

Hippocampus Theatrics will be incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the state of Missouri, operating as a 501(c)(3) to provide professional and educational theatrical experiences for the St. Louis region. A founding Board of Directors will oversee operations during the first two seasons, and starting in the third year, board members will be elected according to established bylaws created and approved by the founding members.
