Hello everyone,

My name is Edward Robert R Wood, and I am raising funds to create a small community workshop where people can learn practical skills, repair everyday items, and work on projects together.

Too many useful items are thrown away because people don’t have the tools, space, or guidance to fix them. My goal is to set up an accessible local workshop with basic equipment where neighbours can come together to learn simple repairs, woodworking, and hands-on skills that save money and reduce waste.

This space will be open to the community for shared projects, beginner-friendly classes, and volunteer-led repair sessions. It will encourage creativity, sustainability, and connection between people of all ages.

The funds raised will go toward essential tools, safety equipment, workbenches, storage, and initial rent for the workshop space. With your support, this idea can become a practical place that benefits many people, not just me.
