Hi, my name is Aina, and I’m fundraising to open a charity shop that will help fund and expand the work of Idias Community Kitchen, a grassroots initiative dedicated to feeding, clothing, and supporting those who are struggling, both in London and beyond.

At Idias Community Kitchen, we currently run a soup kitchen in Fellows Court Community Centre (E2) where we serve hot meals, and we provide fresh groceries at no cost in different locations across London. Our mission is to support not just the homeless, but anyone facing financial hardship, with dignity and compassion.

We also send necessities to vulnerable communities across the world, but to sustain and grow this work, we need a more stable financial base. That’s why we’re opening a charity shop, where 100% of the proceeds will go directly to supporting our initiatives.

Even more, the charity shop will include a private room at the back offering free showers and clean clothing for homeless individuals, giving them a safe and respectful place to care for themselves.

We’re doing all this already, but with your help, we can do even more, and do it better.
