Hi everyone,

My name is Kelisa and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My mother Latoya, lives in Jamaica and recently lost the entire top of her home and furniture and appliances after Hurricane Melissa devastated her area. The storm tore through her house, leaving her without a safe roof, electricity, or even the basic things she needs to live day-to-day.

She’s currently staying in unsafe conditions, and I’m trying to raise funds to help repair the roof, replace essential appliances, and get her food, clothing, and basic supplies. She’s a hardworking and kind woman who has always helped others , now she’s the one who needs help.

I’m doing everything I can from here in the U.S., but the cost of rebuilding is far beyond what I can afford alone. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward:

• Rebuilding the roof

• Replacing her stove, fridge, and other damaged essentials

• Getting clean water, food, and basic supplies

• Helping her feel safe and stable again
