Aloha friends,
Our dear friend and coworker, Lathson Robert, was the victim of the recent acid attack in Chinatown. Lathson isn’t just someone we work alongside, he’s family to all of us in the restaurant. He’s the guy who shows up, works hard, and always bring laughter into the toughest shifts.
Lathson is only 30 years old, a husband and father who works tirelessly to provide for his wife and kids. Now, because of this heartless act, he’s facing a battle no one should ever have to endure. He’s lost vision in one eye and will need surgery on his shoulder and arm. His road to recovery will be long, painful, and expensive.
We're starting this fundraiser because I know Lathson would never ask for help himself, but he needs us now more than ever. Every donation will go directly to support his medical bills, recovery, and to help his family through this difficult time.
In Hawaiʻi, we talk about ʻohana and that’s exactly what Lathson is to us. If you can give, please do. If you can’t, please share this with others so we can surround him and his family with the love and support they deserve.
Mahalo from the bottom of our hearts
