Help Laramies Medical Needs

Hi, My name is Mason Aten, I am Laramies father. Laramie was diagnosed with INAD (Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy) in July of 2021. INAD is an extremely rare disease with less than 150 people diagnosed worldwide. It is a terminal disease with a lifespan of only 5-10 years. Up until her diagnosis she was a normal baby, perfectly healthy. She could crawl, almost walk on her own and even say mommy and daddy. But this terrible disease has taken all of that away from her. She is now non verbal and non mobile. She takes 10 different medications, some 4 times a day, Oxygen daily, and CPT therapy daily. We are devastated this has happened to our beautiful daughter and we have made it a goal in our lives to make sure she has absolutely everything she needs and is as comfortable as she can be. She has been having extremely high blood pressure, heart rate and very low oxygen saturation. She also has epilepsy, which results in absent seizures. 

We absolutely hate asking for any help, and we have been back and forth on making this fundraiser. It has come to the point to where we simply cannot afford everything she needs on our own anymore. We have been recommended a service dog for alerting all of her needs and disability’s, and also as a companion for emotional support. We strongly believe a service dog will make her life safer. She absolutely loves animals, and being around them. She is being provided a wheelchair and we now need to build a wheelchair ramp as well. We would like to have better accommodations in the house for her, and make her as comfortable as possible. Absolutely anything helps. Even if you can’t give you can still help by praying for our precious Laramie. Everything is greatly appreciated. This little girl is our whole world. We just want to make sure the very short time she has with us is the best it can be. Thank you all..
