Hi my name is Lily Parsons. I started this gofundme for my younger sister Lany. She is 13 years old and has been in 4-H since she was 5 years old. She started raising steer 3 years ago and absolutely loves it. She has saved up from those past 3 years to be able to buy a more expensive steer to be more competitive. We had him for 7 weeks and the last 2 weeks he slowed down eating grain and eventually stopped and was only eating hay, but seemed completely fine. On Sunday, he took a turn for the worst. He would not get up so we had the vet come out to treat him. She diagnosed him with pneumonia and said he would be fine. The next day he seemed a little better. He was walking around at 5pm, so we went outside an hour later and he was dead. Lany was sitting with him and was completely crushed. I would like to ask for any donations to help her be able to buy another steer for this years fair. She’s a super hard worker and very competitive. It won’t bring back Trigger, but it will hopefully give her another shot at this years fair! I’d love to suprise her with this!
