Hello!

My name is Mike Bevacqua.

I’ve recently taken on a leadership role within my church’s youth group and I am working to raise $5,000 to grow and expand our ministry.

Our church, Landmark Baptist Church, is located in Seffner Florida and if you are familiar with the area, you know that it is one of the more underserved communities in the Tampa Bay area. What I have learned in my time in this role is that our church is, in some cases, the only place that many of our teens are cared for; whether it be words of affirmation and encouragement, a safe space and in a few cases - a hot meal.

This is a personal endeavor of mine because I once was the teenager that leaned on the church for a hot meal, words of affirmation and a safe space.

The role that I accepted is music / worship leader and while my primary focus will be on music, these funds will be going towards other areas of our teen ministry such as:

• Upgrading teen room (paint / lights / projector / TV)

• Transportation to and from church

• Group outings

• Lunch / Dinner for youth functions

• Group t-shirts
