Hi, my name is Akerrni Drummond...my mom Lakia Crawford. I'm writing this as a daughter who loves her mom more than words. She is my best friend, my world, the lady who has always been here for me. My mom has the biggest heart even during her toughest struggles, and this has been a heartbreaking experience for her. She's the backbone to our family's well being, and right now things are extremely difficult to take care of. While our faith is in God's hands that she will see this through; many challenges are ahead. My mom is 35 years old and has struggled for years with different health issues; and just last week they found a tumor on her brain which has affected her daily life. The doctors plan on surgically removing it later this week, and her healing journey will begin. The help she will need mentally, physically, financially, and emotionally will be bigger than any of us. I want to express my love and appreciation for taking the time to read our story. Every action will never go unnoticed. As a daughter, it's incredibly hard to ask for help; but my family needs it. Any donation, prayers, and uplifting words are highly needed and appreciated during this difficult time!
