Help Us Build Lakehouse: A Community Home for Music, Art & Connection

Seattle is full of incredibly talented artists, musicians, and creative people — but finding spaces to gather, collaborate, and share work isn’t always easy.

Lakehouse began as a simple idea:

What if there were more spaces where creativity could happen naturally?

Where musicians, artists, neighbors, and curious newcomers could meet, discover events, and feel part of something welcoming and alive.

Over the past year, Lakehouse has grown organically through pop-up shows, collaborative performances, community gatherings, and grassroots events created entirely by volunteers and local artists who believe in building culture together.

What started as friends bringing people together has become something much bigger — a growing creative community.

Why We’re Fundraising

We are now taking the next step: officially forming Lakehouse as a nonprofit community arts organization.

Becoming a nonprofit will allow us to:

• Create more accessible community events

• Support local artists and musicians

• Apply for arts and cultural grants

• Partner with cities, venues, and foundations

• Keep events affordable and community-focused

• Build sustainable creative programming in Seattle

The funds raised here will go directly toward:

✅ Nonprofit incorporation and filing fees

✅ IRS 501(c)(3) application costs

✅ Legal and administrative setup

✅ Basic infrastructure needed to operate transparently and sustainably

Our goal is $2,500, which covers the foundational costs required to legally establish Lakehouse so we can begin applying for grants and long-term funding that benefits the entire community.
