My best friend's daughter, Kylee Faris, and her boyfriend, Quinten Bathje, lost their entire home and all of their belongings in a tragic and freak accident on Friday, June 20th, 2025.

A fire started by batteries sent their entire home up in flames in seconds, consuming everything they owned.

They walked out the door Friday morning with joy in their hearts and the clothes on their backs, only to be met with the sight of everything they’ve worked so hard for in their young lives being destroyed by fire.
