My name is Kyle, and I’m a hardworking Veteran and Father doing everything I can to be there for my 10-year-old daughter. Over the past few months, life has thrown me challenge after challenge. I was in a car accident, got hurt on the job, lost my place to live, and my work hours have been cut. Through it all, my only joy has been seeing my daughter—she’s my best friend and the reason I keep going.
I pay child support and send gifts, but I haven’t been able to spend holidays with her or even see her face as often as I should. The only big day I was able to spend with her was her birthday in August. She has a good mother, but in the past four years, she’s lived in four different apartments. I want to give my daughter something stable—a place for us to call our own, where we can have father-daughter time and build memories together.
If I had a vehicle, I could see her when I’m supposed to, work multiple jobs, and provide for both of us. I don’t want to keep living on someone else’s couch or in a basement. I’m not asking for much—just a chance to give my daughter the life she deserves. Every night I pray and hope things will get better for us. That’s why I’m reaching out for help.
