Hi I’m Kyle, father of two and stay-at-home-dad since 2017. I found City Dads Group in 2017 and began organizing for their Denver chapter - Denver Dads Group.

City Dads dissolved into another parenting group All Parents Welcome this year. The changes haven’t been great and organizers lost a lot of support.

I am wanting to start my own dads group. It will be similar as before - that the group hosts a mix of dads/kids, families, and dad only events. Every month between 5-10 events will be held and this helps fatherhood in our community.

The Lonliness epidemic has hit men - especially dads - hard. A 2021 survey from the Survey Center on American Life found that 15% of men reported having no close friends, a significant increase from just 3% in 1990. That survey also found men having at least 6 close friends fell by more than 50 percent since 1990.

I concur that info. I was a lonely dad in Colorado before Denver Dads. I have made many close friendships since and connected with hundreds of individuals over the years.

It is my passion to continue providing this service for the dads of the Denver Metro Area. I need your support as Meetup.com isn’t cheap but it is the leader of in-person meetup sites. Please consider donating and/or sharing this cause.
