Help Kyle and Lola find a warm home

If you run across Kyle in the Dublin, Ohio area, you’ll spot little Lola as well. She’ll be right by his side or in his arms. That’s just the way they roll. Inseparable.

“We’re a package!” he’ll say. Then, with a boyish grin, explain that when Lola was a pup he could easily hold her in the palm of his hand. He loves his girl.

Kyle is in his early thirties. Lola is three. And they are homeless.

But where do you go when authorities order you to leave your “home” under a thicket of trees by the Scioto? Where?

Kyle has struggled with personal challenges and family issues for several years; this is not his first Ohio winter. But to his credit he has remained optimistic. And somehow along the journey Kyle was blessed to find strong spiritual values and a positive outlook about the future. Truly remarkable.

And this positivity is what moves everyone who meets him on what he calls his “walks.” If your paths ever cross, you will understand.

Right now, a few of his friends are working to find a modest apartment for Kyle and Lola. A local business has already offered a job (with Lola!). So now all they need is a warm home, a jump start.

We want to raise $7,500 to help this remarkable pair get on their feet — all six of them. Kyle and Lola. God knows they are worth it.
