A Call for Help: Supporting Kyle and His Family

Kyle, a dedicated employee at Battleview Market, and his family are facing an incredibly difficult time. Despite every hardship life has thrown his way, Kyle continues to show up, work hard, and care for his disabled mother.

Many of you may already know Kyle’s story. He and his mother lost their only vehicle due to mechanical failure, leaving them without transportation. Yet, this never stopped Kyle. Every day, he walks five miles to and from work—rain or shine—determined to provide for his family. The kindness of our Sharpsburg community shines through as people often stop to offer him a ride, including his amazing coworkers who go out of their way to help whenever they can.

But Kyle’s struggles don’t end there. Just two weeks ago, he and his family suffered the devastating loss of his brother, a heartbreak that has added to their already overwhelming challenges. And now, they are on the verge of losing their home.

Kyle is not just a hardworking employee—he is a kind-hearted soul who gives his all, no matter the circumstances. He carries the weight of his family on his shoulders, doing everything he can to keep them together. Now, they need our help.
