Help Kyle Achieve his Bucket List

Hi my name is Jade and I am fundraising for my best friend Kyle (My SPUD)

Please help to support Kyle and his family with achieving Kyles last wishes he has in life. Every dollar will count to help and will be greatly appreciated. This will help Kyle achieve his bucket list with his fight against sarcoidosus. Anyone that knows Kyle knows he’s one of the most loyal, highly intelligent, has the best sense of humour and most all all is a fighter with the best attitude towards life. He always puts others before himself especially his family and friends. Unfortunately back in 2012 Kyle became very sick and it was after a lengthy hospital stay and a large range of tests Kyle at the young age of just 17 was diagnosed with an acute rare disease called sarcoidosus.

Sarcoidosus affects the lungs, lymph nodes, eyes and skin most commonly but is also known to spread and effect the body as a hole. This disease actually melts internal organs which in turn creates organ failure. Over the last 12 years Kyle has been fighting this rare disease with many hospital admissions, frequent specialist appointments, and multiple surgery’s. There is no cure for this disease medically. Kyles health has deteriorated drastically in the last 12 months and with his body slowly starting to shut down time is now very precious. So just the everyday tasks are becoming extremely hard. Kyle’s body being so poor and now unable to have the multiple transplants he requires nor any further treatments available to give him a better quality of life, is no longer an option and the time is now near. Kyle has now been given up to 12 months to live. With the very poor lung capacity along with other organs failing like his heart unfortunately this forces other organs throughout the body to work harder and shut down. Over years of his body being under immense pressure it has now caused Kyle to become very uncomfortable with very little mobility.

Kyle requires constant oxygen 24 hours a day. Unfortunately the football loving family man’s life has had to slow down significantly and he now is missing out on many opportunities he wanted to achieve and has always dreamed of doing. The last 12 months living with sarcoidosus has managed to spread drastically throughout the majority of Kyle’s body even a common cold could be very dangerous due to his body being unable to fight it off. Kyles low immune system can no longer fight and at young age of 29 with an expectancy of 12 months to live there are minimal things he would like to achieve with his family but needs the support to achieve his dreams.
