Help Kyla Rebuild After Texas Flood
Donation protected
Hey ya’ll, as you know there was catastrophic flash flooding across Central and West Texas on July 4th. San Angelo was hit very hard, especially off of Bell St which is where Kyla’s home is. Her home was flooded and she has lost all of her belongings. She had to cling to a tree during the floods for over an hour which is the very tree you see in the cover photo. Her insurance is not covering any of her personal belongings so we are creating this gofundme in order to help her restart building her future and filling back her home.
Kyla is a beloved school teacher to elementary students and has a huge heart. She was one of my first friends I made when we were stationed in San Angelo and since moving away I just wanted to help her in any possible way.
She’s in good spirits considering everything she’s already been through, but I wanted to create this to help her have a little less to worry about.
The community has come together already helping her remove all of the destroyed furniture from her home to clear it out and get to cleaning. People have showed up and brought coffee, given hugs and support and I know it means a lot to her already based off her posts she’s been making on FB.
If you cannot donate, please send prayers her way and share this page! We love you Kyla!
