Hello everyone! I'm Kyla's big sister, Kayla, as most of you know. Kyla is only nine years old and we just recently found out she has a cancerous brain tumor. She has had an extensive brain surgery to remove most of the tumor. Kyla will still have to undergo chemotherapy to reduce the size of the tumor and kill off the excessive cancer. 


This came as a drastic shock to Kyla, me and my family. Kyla is full of life and enjoys drawing and just living life as a kid! Her legs gave us the first sign and we realized something was wrong as her leg functions were off. Kyla is coming to terms with her diagnosis but is still confused and scared as one can expect. She will have to relearn how to walk, talk, and and live a normal life again with this life altering experience.  As odd as this feel for me and my family we have been struggling to figure out how to pay for Kyla's medical bills and still support our family of 6. April 3rd we will be celebrating her tenth birthday as special as possible regardless of the circumstances ahead. Following her birthday she will be entering a rehab facility to learn how to properly function her body on her own again. We are asking for a helping hand in this time of devastation for our family. We are leaning on God in these troubling times and we ask for prayers more than anything!
