Help Kseniia's father settle in Vancouver
Donation protected
On February 24th, at 4:30am Kseniia's mother, father, brother , and his partner Andrew, were awoken by the shelling of the airport in their city by the Russian Military Invasion. Her Mom texted her as she was on the way home from work "The war has started". They packed a small suitcase each, and their papers, and within hours were fleeing for a small village in a safer part of the country. Her brother and his partner are still there. Due to their age they're unable to leave.
Her mother and father have left the country and are currently in Bulgaria. Her mother will be staying in Europe and we have begun the Visa process to bring her dad here to Vancouver. We're expecting this to be completed in the next 2 weeks or so.
What we're asking for is your help to give him the time to get settled here in Vancouver. We'd like to raise enough money for him to live 3 months, find some peace, and look for work in his field as a Cheif Engineer in shipping, while we try and find a house big enough for all three of us, our dog, and Eduard's cat.
If you know Sush, you know how important her family is to her. We're thrilled to have Eduard coming to live with us and can't wait for you all to meet him and welcome him to our community and we appreciate whatever you can give.
