I'm creating this for my sister Krystin, who needs some financial help to get guardianship for my niece to cover the costs of the paralegal, court fees, and filing fees. She is the sole caregiver for Katie, which makes it incredibly hard for her to have a job. Katie does not have a caregiver; my sister is with her full-time.

Katie will be 18 on September 25th. Katie has Down Syndrome along with complete heart block; she fully relies on her pacemaker and around-the-clock care. On top of that, she has a thyroid disorder and mixed receptive language disorder.

In order for my sister to continue Katie's healthcare and have full access to all of her medical records along with all the very much needed appointments that Katie cannot do herself, she has to file for guardianship.
