My name is Kristin, I am 27 years old and married to Conner Stevens, 24. We have four beautiful children: Scarlett, who is 5, and our triplets Conner Jr, Violett, and Brody, who are 5 months old. Recently, we have been facing financial struggles and are reaching out to our community for support. Our only car broke down, which has made daily life much more difficult. Conner works full time, and I work three days a week because we can’t afford child care. Thankfully, my aunt and mom help watch our children Monday through Wednesday, which is a huge relief. Unfortunately, we don’t qualify for government assistance, so covering basic needs has become even more challenging.

Keeping up with groceries, bills, and rent has been hard to manage. On top of that, buying formula, diapers, and wipes for the triplets is a constant expense, but we always put our babies first. I am reaching out today to ask for help so we can get our car fixed and catch up on debt and bills. Without a car, we have to rely on Ubers and family for transportation, which isn’t sustainable. I grew up in Wauconda, IL, and my husband in Cary, IL, and we are grateful for any support from our community.
