Kristen needs immediate help: Rent, Medical Bills & More
Donation protected
There comes a point in some people's lives where things get so bad you no longer have the ability to fight back. Where it gets so bad you're just surviving day to day. Where you consider just giving up because you don't know what to do any more.
Sadly, Kristen is at that point. And she needs your help.
The Overwhelming Obstacles
Kristen's battles with horrific trauma started at age three and, sadly, it's been one thing after another through her life.
She lost her job last year and has been unable to secure work which means she has to face those battles without income, insurance, or transportation. She has chronic health issues, crippling PTSD, agoraphobia, and a host of other problems.
Every day is a fight for food, medications, daily bills, even care for her cat, Stella.
Kristen is facing eviction and badly needs funds to pay back rent and try and build a cushion for the future.
We're hoping to raise $10,000+ for immediate needs. Here’s how your support will be used:
❖ Rent relief (past + future): $6000
❖ Medical care + prescriptions: $1,800
❖ Basic living expenses (groceries, phone, internet): $1,800
❖ Transportation support: $300
❖ Insurance and credit relief: $2000
"I am legitimately realizing just HOW MUCH of what I've survived, that I not only don't talk about publicly, I have never actually told anyone except my therapist. Because I have always been terrified that either people will see me as irrevocably broken and therefore worthless, or that people will hurt me with these things." - Kristen
Who's Behind The Campaign
We are Shana, Janna, and Jill; Kristen’s close friends and biggest supporters. We’ve watched her survive overwhelming adversity with grace, courage, and grit. But right now, she needs more than encouragement she needs action.
