We are reaching out to our community, friends, and anyone moved by this tragic event to support Kristen Henry, who recently suffered a devastating house fire at her Grand Isle home.

On November 19th Kristen's home experienced a serious fire, destroying the entire upstairs and causing significant damage to the rest of the structure. Thankfully, Kristen and her kids are safe, but the damage is catastrophic.

Kristen is a vital and dedicated member of our community, serving as the Community Development Director for Madawaska. She tirelessly works to improve our area, and now, she urgently needs our support in return.

The fire resulted in the loss of the majority of her clothing, personal belongings, and essential household items from smoke and water damage. The house is currently uninhabitable, and due to the extensive damage may be a total loss.

Kristen’s immediate and critical needs include:

• Temporary Housing: She needs to find a safe and stable place to live for the foreseeable future while her home is being rebuilt.

• Essential Personal Items: Funds are desperately needed to replace lost clothing, toiletries, and other basic necessities that were destroyed.
