Help KFI’s Kono Get Back on the Road

Bill Handel and the morning crew are reaching out to the KFI community to help one of our own.

Kono is the hardworking board operator for The Bill Handel Show on KFI. If you listen in the mornings, you’ve heard his work—he’s one of the people who makes sure the show sounds great and gets on the air every single day.

Recently, Kono’s car engine completely gave out while he was on his way to work. Unfortunately, the vehicle is no longer drivable, leaving him without reliable transportation.

Kono is an awesome husband and “super dad” to three kids. He commutes nearly 70 miles each way, 5 days a week to keep the show running smoothly.

We’re raising funds to help Kono purchase a dependable used car so he can get back on the road, support his family, and continue doing what he does best: keeping the sound of KFI alive every morning.
