Hi, my brother Kolbee was unfortunately a victim of gun violence. A wrong place, wrong time situation is even more likely to happen when you are growing up in Chicago. When you're also a young Black boy growing up in Chicago the risk increases. It hits different when it is your own blood. Kolbee is a recent graduate from Homewood Flossmoor High school and he was on track to start work the day after Halloween , but was aimlessly shot the night before. Kolbee was shot in his hand and leg, the bullet is still in his leg and he needs surgery to get it removed. Unfortunately, my brother isn't insured and the family has to come up with the money in order get this surgery done. He is also a diabetic so leaving this bullet in his leg is very high risk for him. His expenses cover ER visits, orthopedic surgery, physical therapy and medication . I've provided evidence as well, please be mindful the last picture is graphic as it shows the wounds. Please share this! Anything helps my little brother and our family out. We are trying to get the surgery completed as soon as possible! We are truly thankful that he is still alive and we are thankful to those that can share and help. God bless!
