Hello, friends. You all know Koert and Kristen, and if you don't, then you should, because they are great. Everything about them is great: their four kids, Kristen's smile, Koert's ubiquitous Von's brown bag bourbon+Pepsi-classic surprise. Yes, their greatness is everywhere. However, something else is everywhere too, and it is not great: mold.

K & K recently discovered a widespread mold outbreak in multiple areas of their home. This outbreak is almost certainly the cause of a number of health issues that they and their family have been dealing with for many months. Insurance will not cover this particular situation. Addressing the outbreak will require replacement of walls, carpets, and laminate flooring in three rooms. They have also had to dispose of their couch, an air conditioner, the kids' mattresses and many of their toys and books, as well as a number of miscellaneous items. Koert has already begun the project, but it will take some time to complete. While this takes place, the family is bunking up with our parents in a spare bedroom and study. 

This is a tough ordeal that Koert & Kristen are working through. All proceeds will go toward purchasing building materials and replacing household items.
