Dear friends and family,

My brother Kody is in need of immediate help by means of financial assistance and

emotional support. His life has been turned upside down in a short, few months. It was not easy

for him to reach out and ask for help, and this reflects his strength and motivation to secure

stability for his children. These difficulties began while he was recovering from one major surgery

this past summer that kept him out of work for several months. He missed a lot of work prior to his

surgery because of the extensive pain he was in. He fell behind in bills and struggled to

maintain his living expenses. In addition, his marriage has recently ended, and he desire is to continue to provide a home for his children in order to be

awarded shared physical custody. The marriage ending has now introduced additional legal fees for a divorce attorney. On top of all of his hardships he has been diagnosed with kidney cancer and is undergoing surgery to have his kidney removed on the 8th of this month. Kody will be out of work for at least 3 months recovering from the surgery. Kody has four beautiful children, and he desperately wants to maintain

strong relationships with them and to be fully involved in their lives. He could use any help you

may be able to offer; please rally together and provide assistance so he can continue to be in

his children’s lives and have a positive impact on their relationship during this extremely

stressful time. Your assistance would be genuinely appreciated if possible. To be clear, if you

can even spare even a little, it will go toward his living expenses, unpaid medical bills and legal fees in the

coming months.
