Hello all, we have created this fundraiser to purchase a van for Kobee.

Kobee was in a horrible auto accident in August of 2024. He was left with a serious brain injury and in a wheelchair.

We are raising funds to get a van to transport Kobee to appointments, to see family, and to get back a sense of normalcy in general. His insurance does cover transport for medical appointments, but we have already had several no-shows, causing us to walk home from his appointments. It’s not ideal and sometimes downright not safe to have him out in our weather.

There are several models we have looked at and tried, the most success and comfort being found in a Chrysler Pacifica. The captain's seats with stow-and-go capabilities and legroom were big factors in why we chose this particular model. Captain seats are easier for him to get in and out of and stow-and-go gives us extra room for his wheelchair and 6ft long ramp.

Hopefully, we can get this van in the next few months and help Kobee to get back some independence.
