I'm a friend of Klaus's, I'm trying to help raise money to buy him a new bike and trailer after his got stolen on the 29/08/22 in Coonamble NSW.

Klaus has cycled from Hong Kong to Europe 3 times, he has crossed South America but most of you would know him as an Northern Territory icon who regularly rides his bike up and down the Stuart Highway and to all 4 corners of Australia.

His motive for riding is health and wellbeing and thats why he doesn't stop for too long in any one place.

Klaus is 73 years of age and on the pension, his home is his tent and his only form of transport was his bike.

All his possesions fitted neatly in his bike trailer that he towed behind.

Klaus was riding from Alice Springs to Tamworth for a friends wedding and was just about there, he only had 300km to go on his 2,700km trip.

While camping overnight in Coonamble NSW he woke up to discover his bike and trailer had been stolen.

Lets rally around him and try to replace his bike!
