My name is Kirstie, and I am reaching out because I am in a situation that I can no longer handle on my own. For almost two and a half years, I have been the only one working and supporting myself and my children while living in a verbally, emotionally, and mentally abusive relationship. Every day has been a struggle, and I have done everything I can to keep us safe and cared for, but I am at a point where I need help to move forward.

What I need most right now is a reliable vehicle so I can continue to get to work and make sure my children get to school and daycare safely. I am able to cover our rent and bills with my job, but I am struggling to come up with the deposit and first month’s rent needed to secure a new, safe place for us to live. I am doing my best to find and secure a residence where we can start over, but the financial burden is overwhelming.

I have never been one to ask for help, but I am emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausted. I just need help to get us out of this situation and give my children the stability and safety they deserve. Any support you can offer would mean the world to us.
