My name is Kirra Hackett, I am 11 years old and heading into 6th grade at Aviara Oaks Middle School.

I'm participating in a summer leadership program with the daddy/daughter camping program at the YMCA and organizing a charity event for the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life. My team and I are taking donations for baked goods and charcuterie boards that we will offer between 5pm and 8pm at the Concert in the Park in Carlsbad on Friday, July 11th at Stagecoach Park. Please come and help support my project! If you can't make it, I am asking for donations here that will help cover the small cost to make the desserts and the charcuterie boards. Any and all money I have left over will go directly to the American Cancer Society (ACS). My goal is $2500 because that is also the maximum corporate matching amount that has been committed to me. If I hit my goal of raising $2500, a total of $5000 will go the ACS!

I chose ACS because I lost my aunt to cancer a few years ago. I want money to be raised for this organization to help fund their research programs and hopefully make cancer a thing of the past.
