Help Kirk Tyree Rebuild After Flood Devastation
Donation protected
Kirk "Skipper" Tyree, Operating Partner of the Sarasota Mission BBQ needs our help. Throughout his career he has been a pillar of the community in Sarasota. Much like he served his country as an Army veteran, he continues to serve his community and those around him. Kirk joined Mission BBQ 5 years ago and has continued to make a positive impact on our brand and made us better. He is an adored leader by his people and pours into them on a daily basis. During Tropical Storm Debby, the Sarasota area endured unheard of flooding. Kirk has lived in his home for 22 years. He raised his two daughters Grace and Jordan in this home. His home and truck were impacted in flood waters causing catastrophic damage to both. Due to Kirk not living in a flood zone and never having any issues in 22 years, no flood insurance was in place and his insurance carrier is not providing any coverage for this damage. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him with a tremendous financial impact. To speak to Kirk's character, the day him and his family were evacuated from their home in waste deep water, he took his Bambam and assisted Bradenton Police Department in high water rescues for the rest of the day. A man well deserving of help from all of us. We are asking his Mission family to come together and give whatever you can to assist Kirk and his family with their recovery. Whatever you can give no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.
