My Story – Why I Fight for Kingdom Kare

My story is one of pain turned into purpose. Years ago, I faced one of the hardest seasons of my life—losing my child to suicide. That loss broke me, but it also awakened a fire in me: no family should have to walk through struggle without support, love, and hope.

That’s why I founded Kingdom Kare. We started with nothing but faith and a vision to wrap our arms around children, parents, and entire families. Over the last 20 years, we’ve grown into a lifeline for our community:

Teen mothers who once felt forgotten now graduate with their babies in their arms and a future in front of them.

Children from military families, working-class homes, and struggling neighborhoods step into classrooms where they are loved, taught, and prepared to soar.

Families battling food insecurity find not just groceries, but dignity, when we serve 600–1,500 people each week.

Young men at risk of violence find mentors who call out their greatness and guide them toward purpose.

Every number is a life. Every program is a heartbeat. Every success is a testimony that what the enemy meant for harm, God has turned for good.

But here’s the truth: this work is bigger than me. It takes a community to heal a community. Kingdom Kare needs people who believe in transformation, who believe in giving children and families a chance to win at life.
