Hello! This year, I decided to take a gap year to figure out what I want to do in college. I decided to get involved with volunteering abroad with Peru's Ministry of Culture and GoEco.org.

I got accepted into a program that takes volunteers to Peru to help preserve and maintain their archeological sites, artifacts, and their culture. I would also get the opportunity to be a part of documenting data and mapping out sites.

This opportunity not only aligns with my passions for preserving history and culture, but also my future academic pursuits. I'm hoping to major in Anthropology and Genetics at Oregon State University in the fall of 2026, and this volunteering opportunity would help me get a good start on future internships and service hours.

Thank you so much for your support! I can't do this without you!

xoxo,

Kina
