Help Kimmy Recover from Palisades Fire Loss
Donation protected
My friend and colleague, Kimmy, has been an incredible part of the Saint Matthew’s Parish School community for the past seven years. As a devoted teacher, she has touched the lives of countless students, inspiring them to grow intellectually, creatively, and ethically.
During the recent devastating Palisades Fire, Kimmy fearlessly evacuated all students from school, ensuring their safety with her characteristic calm and strength. After securing the safety of others, she returned home briefly, gathering only a few essentials, believing she would soon be able to return. Tragically, the fire consumed her home, and she has lost nearly everything.
Despite this unimaginable loss, Kimmy has remained steadfast in her commitment to her students and our community, showing the same grace and resilience that make her such a cherished member of our school family.
This GoFundMe is an opportunity to support Kimmy as she rebuilds her life. Funds will go directly toward helping her secure temporary housing, replace essential belongings, and navigate this challenging time.
Let’s come together as a community to show our gratitude for all Kimmy has given to us and help her on the road to recovery. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
