Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out during a time of deep heartbreak for my family. My sister, Kimberly, passed away on 10/12/25, leaving behind her beautiful daughters. My mom, who has always been the rock of our family and has been the main caregiver for them for the past 5 1/2 years, now is stepping up to be their mother figure for the rest of their lives. She’s doing this with love, strength, and grace—but the financial burden is real. My sister was hospitalized basically since early September, and the drive back and forth from Fort Worth to Dallas multiple times a week caused my mom to have a lot of unexpected expenses which she took out of her small savings account. I have not been able to work in order to help my mom, because I was providing the care for the girls so she could spend as much time with Kimberly as she could.

My mom has had many people asking how they can help us, but she always says we are fine. I'm hoping to raise funds to help her with immediate needs like rent, food, Halloween costumes, birthday gifts for the upcoming birthdays of Ryleigh - turning 8 on 10/19 and Jasmine - turning 14 on 10/28, as well as emotional support services for the girls. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ease the weight on my mom’s shoulders and gives my nieces the stability they need right now.
