Help Kim Buell keep her head above water!

I am creating a GoFundMe for Kim Buell. As most of you know, the last few months have been very difficult for Kim. Her last trip back to Minnesota from Michigan has been rife with stressful situations. She came home to her mom being in the hospital where she was deteriorating, they asked she be released to be at home in hospice. They got her back home and Kim’s truck died in mom’s driveway, the transmission failed and also her brakes and other issues, costing her thousands of dollars, more than she bought it for!

Kim spent the majority of the next few weeks staying by her mom’s side and caring for her until her passing and dealing with grief. There were a couple weeks before she had to deal with the next difficulty, her special needs son Josh having major surgery, having his hip and multiple procedures done on his leg in the hope of gaining more mobility in his day-to-day life and pain relief (prayers for this would be appropriate). Once again, Kim providing 24-7 care at the hospital for Josh, rarely leaving his side. He is now in rehab, and of course she is there most of her waking hours.

This year she lost several farmer’s market dates due to weather and caregiving when she was in MN, missing multiple art fairs in Michigan including this weekend, with the possibility of missing more over the holiday season. Her art is her livelihood, this is her “job” and the way she survives, holding her over until spring. She is stressing that she is not making money to live on, buy groceries, gas, and traveling back and forth between MN and MI. She sure could use some help, and hopefully take some of this stress off her plate. Please join me in lifting Kim up and making her life a lot easier.
