Hi, my name is Khloe A. Rose. I'm a 36-year-old trans woman. I currently live in a small town outside Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, and I'm starting this account to help me relocate to a new city where I'll be able to find work and protected housing for trans individuals.

Where I currently live, I have tried to find work, and no one is hiring me. The job I did have, management targeted me, which got so bad I no longer felt safe there, so I quit. I currently live with family, and they're not all fully supportive of who I am. So rather than sitting around endlessly scrolling for jobs that won't hire me, I've been researching other cities and nonprofit organizations that can help assist trans women and areas and cities that are protected legally for trans women, where I can be in an atmosphere that I can actually grow in. The last thing I want is to be in a situation where I no longer have housing and can't find work, and have no money. Because then my issues turn quickly to survival, and being a trans woman, there are a lot of people out there that do not wish me well and will do harm to me. So I have to keep my safety the top priority. And being on the streets is my biggest fear.

I'm making this account not as asking for a handout, because I don't like that phrase, but asking for generosity, asking for humility, asking for someone to, if you can't understand, at least empathize. I want nothing more than to have a regular job, a small little apartment, a job maybe close by where I can just walk to work. I don't even need a car. Maybe one day have a dog, have a life full of friends, and just live my authentic life. But sadly, my life and who I am has been turned into a trending topic for social media and for news reporters. I see people say all the time, 'protect the dolls, protect the dolls.' Well, here is your chance to protect a doll and not just make it a post on social media. Actually help a trans person's actual life.
