Dear Friends and kind-hearted readers,

There is a consensus among the friends and acquaintances of Mr. Khalid Taleb that he is a model friend, community member, son, husband, and father. Mr. Taleb’s ethical conduct registers very high among his friends and everyone who has interacted with him. He is a very kind human being whose kindness sometimes borders on naivety.

Unfortunately, it is that kindness and trust that had landed him in some legal wrangling costing him his entire livelihood. This is hardly the space to lay out the details of how he was taken advantage of. I will be willing to narrate how he got deceived in the most egregious way possible. But the purpose of this message is more practical than anything.

I am reaching out to anyone reading this message asking for your help. Mr. Taleb was ordered by a Moroccan court to pay upwards of $30,000 in restitution and court fees. Worse yet is that leaving the Moroccan territory is contingent upon him paying off that judgment amount.

Obviously, Khalid is in a catch 22 situation where he is unable to pay that amount unless he is back in the states working and making money.

Mr. Talib realizes that this is an exorbitant amount of money to be solicited from friends and relatives. On the same note, he needs to raise that money expeditiously so that he can get back to work and back to putting his life together.

Mr. Talib is ready is not asking for a handout but I loan that he would be paying back upon returning to work and in terms not exceeding 24 months

Please find it in your heart to help this brother out in this predicament. I am appealing to you in heading the advice of the Prophet peace and prayers be upon him. In Sahih Muslim, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “Whoever makes a difficult situation easy, God will make it easy for him in this world and the hereafter, and whoever covers a Muslim, God will cover him in this world and the next, and God is in the help of the servant as long as the servant is in the help of his brother.”
