On Sunday, 2-17-19, I came home from the gym to find my 3 years old Terrier mix shaking and whimpering.  She was hesitating jumping on or off the bed or couch and as the night progressed, we noticed her hind legs were becoming clumsy.  Monday morning when I took her outside she had a hard time squatting to pee so I decided to take her to work with me to monitor her and call the vet for an appointment. I made an appointment and expressed that I thought she had a tummy ache. (She was farting...a lot.) The appointment was set around 8am for 1pm later that day.  Around 9am, I got up to head to the ladies room and Khaleesi tried to follow me. Her trouble with mobility seemed to be getting worse. She could barely walk and was dragging her back paw knuckles on the ground putting all of her weight on her front paws. I took a video of her trying to walk before I decided to rush her to the animal hospital around 9:30.
At the hospital, they preformed X-Rays, gave her a shot of cortisone and gave her fluids. Sent me home with pain meds, prednisone and muscle relaxers and told me, they hope to see improvement within 24hours. (All for the low price of $498!) Since her visit to the Animal Hospital, she has gotten worse. She hasn't drank any water since yesterday and has stopped eating today. She has lost all function of her bladder and I have to express her bladder for her. When I checked in with the vet this morning, they told me she needs to see a neurologist ASAP!!! I called the neurologist and to be seen it's $305, and MRI and other diagnostics she WILL need is $2300-$2500 and then surgery, which is likely needed with her symptoms will be another $5000-$7000 dollars. The neurologist explained that time is of the essence to prevent permanent damage, she needs these tests and more than likely surgery within the next week or so.
The funds I am so desperately asking for will be used for her MRI, surgery mobility assistance & physical therapy treatment needed post surgery.
Khaleesi is my daughter. She is not just a pet but a member of my family. It KILLS me to look in her beautiful doe eyes and see her in pain and discomfort. She is the sweetest little girl and I can see the fear in her face. Please HELP ME!!! I can't stand to see her live in pain and I am drowning in the hopelessness of the situation. I'm trying to stay positive but it is so hard. 
I have seen many people receive assistance through gofundme and I'm hoping and praying that with the help I receive, I can give Khaleesi the fighting chance at life she so very much deserves.
