Khadija Lost 4 of Her Children — Help Her and Her Husband Survive What’s Left of This War
My name is **Khadija**, a Palestinian mother from **Rafah, Gaza**.
I used to have **five beautiful children**. Our home was full of dreams, love, and hope. Today, **only my husband and I remain** — broken, homeless, and deeply wounded — carrying the unbearable weight of our losses.
---
### My Children — My Heart
* **Ismail**, my eldest, is **missing**. We haven’t heard from him since the attacks began. We don’t know if he’s alive or buried beneath the rubble.
* On **July 18**, a deadly airstrike targeted us. In an instant, I lost **three of my children**:
* **Loay** (16 years old)
* **Ameer** (20 years old)
* **Rola** (24 years old)
All became **martyrs**.

* My daughter **Ghadeer**, 26, was severely injured and taken to the ICU. I was also injured. My husband suffered **critical injuries to his leg** that required urgent surgery and left him unable to walk properly.
Just **a week after the bombing**, the hospital told **Ghadeer and my husband to leave**, as they needed the beds for more critical cases — **even though they were still in great pain**.
**Ghadeer died a week later**, her body exhausted, her dreams unfinished, her life stolen.
---
Now, it’s just **me and my husband**. Grieving. Injured. Alone.
We live in a **burnt tent**, on land that’s been bombed repeatedly. We’ve been **displaced four times**, and each time we try to rebuild even a sliver of stability, it is taken away.
Our only hope now is to **evacuate Gaza** — to escape this nightmare and survive.
---
### What We’re Asking
Please, help us — not to rebuild the past, but to **survive the present**.
We are not asking for comfort — only **a chance to live**.
---
### How You Can Help:
**Donate** – Any amount brings us closer to safety.
**Share** – Please amplify our voice. Help the world see what’s happening.
**Pray** – For Ismail. For our martyrs. For justice and peace.

My daughter Ghadeer once said, “We are people who are proud to survive in the most terrible circumstances.” Now, I carry her words in my heart, and ask for your help to keep surviving — for her memory, and for my husband who still breathes beside me.
With all our pain, and all our hope,
Khadija & her husband
