09/09/26 Update:

I talked to Kevin today. He is very grateful for what all of you have done for him. We will keep this fundraiser going until Monday, September 14th. I will turn off donations at that point and give him the funds. If you have been planning on donating, please be aware of the deadline. Thank you, Yazir.

Our tennis community is coming together to support one of our own. On August 22, Kevin Strawn lost his home and belongings in the devastating Hawk Fire. The home he had built and cared for over many years was gone in a matter of moments.

Kevin is our friend and a fierce competitor both on and off the court. As he begins facing the enormous challenge of rebuilding his life, we hope to help ease some of the unexpected financial burdens ahead.

We are asking our friends and the broader Reno/Sparks tennis community to rally around Kevin during this incredibly difficult time.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help with his immediate needs and the long road toward recovery. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean a great deal.

Let’s show Kevin that he does not have to face this alone.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
