Our family is asking for help to support my son, Kevin, as he rebuilds his life and fights to create a safe, stable, and loving home for his two young boys. Kevin recently left a deeply unhealthy and emotionally abusive relationship after years of trying to hold his family together through addiction, mental health struggles, and ongoing instability in the home. Throughout it all, he remained a devoted father who consistently put his children first. Now, he is starting over completely on his own. Kevin is currently pursuing shared custody of his sons, who are only six and five years old. This process comes with significant legal expenses, housing costs, and the challenge of rebuilding a home from the ground up. He is temporarily staying in a duplex while working toward finding a permanent home where his boys can feel safe, secure, and supported.

Anyone who knows Kevin knows the kind of man he is. He is compassionate, hardworking, community-minded, and deeply devoted to his children. His boys adore him, and he has always been a loving, involved father who wants nothing more than to provide them with stability, comfort, and peace. We are raising funds to help Kevin with legal fees related to custody proceedings, securing safe housing for himself and his children, beds, furniture, and household essentials, clothing, toys, and necessities for the boys, and rebuilding a stable environment where his children can thrive. This past month has been especially heartbreaking, as Kevin has not been able to see his children regularly while navigating the legal system and doing everything properly through the courts. Despite the emotional toll, he continues to move forward with strength, patience, and love for his boys.

As a mother, it is incredibly difficult to watch your child go through something like this. But I also know Kevin’s character. He is determined to break unhealthy cycles, provide a peaceful home for his sons, and teach them compassion, empathy, responsibility, and kindness.
