Pleasure for us to reach you through this campaign !
Kevin Ossah, a global Climate Activist from Togo , West Africa has been given official UNFCCC accreditation but does not have funding to attend the COP26.
He is expected to pay 2500€ for flight tickets, accommodation, local transportation expenses in Glasgow. Unfortunately, he can not afford these costs and needs your help.
He has been accredited to represent his Organization of Youth Engaged for Sustainable Development (OJEDD INTERNATIONAL) at the COP26 from the 31 October to 12 November. OJEDD International is a youth-led network based in Togo and represented in 17 countries but unfortunately, as a youth from the Global South he does not have sufficient funds to support the costs linked to his participation to the event.
"My engagement to participate to the COP26 is to showcase the innovative actions and efforts of youth from francophone Africa". Kevin Ossah
His motivation to attend this global event is to bridge the gap and fully represent Togolese youth among all the participants during dialogs on issues of climate change, environment protection and youth engagement in climate action. Also, he would like to share with others participants the efforts of togolese youth for the National Development Programme underlined on SDGs, the 2030 and 2063 Agenda for sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement.
Even if you can not support him directly, please help by sharing this call with any person or organization that can support him to represent the vulnerable youth.
Thank you for supporting him and a thousand of voices behind him.
