On 12/9/25 a beloved friend tragically took his last breath. Kevin Hay was beloved by many, and this loss is felt by everyone. Hyperion will never be the same without his humor and dedication to helping everyone who needed it.

Kevin worked here for many years and the somber that is currently hanging over our plant is heart shattering. Not many dry eyes are here, and the sadness is felt tremendously without his presence. His empty desk is a tough reminder of the big personality and character that we all lost.

The tragedy that happened and the tragic impact that has snowballed after hearing the story has many wishing to do something to support his parents the best we can in this devasting time.

Grieving the loss of a loved one feels different for everyone, and there’s no telling what will bring comfort on a hard day. Sometimes it’s a good memory of the one we’re missing. Other times it’s support and understanding from a friend. And sometimes the right words of hope and healing can give us strength when we need it most.

Although there are no words to make this hurt feel any less, we can all help to eliminate the hardship for Kevins family. His parents are grieving the loss of a life gone too soon and it is our hope to make any financial burdens disappear so they can grieve and focus on trying to come to terms with the loss of their son. These funds are being donated for whatever Steve & Donna may need and however they feel the money should be used for.
