Help Kevin & Carolina Rebuild

Hi my name is Lois Kohan and I am coordinating this fundraiser on behalf my son, Kevin and daughter-in-law, Carolina. Many people have reached out to see how they can help. Please consider donating in support of Kevin and Carolina as they rebuild their home. In April, the "Rainstorm of the Century" dumped 26 inches of floodwater in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Their home was severly damaged and is currently uninhabitable. They lost the entire contents of their home including clothing, furniture, and appliances. Their car was destroyed by the floodwaters as well, and is not covered by insurance due to the age of the car. They are currently living in a trailer parked outside their home with their disabled dog, Kane. Thanks to the volunteers on the Ft. Lauderdale fire department, the demolition work has been done and the home has been gutted down to the studs and prepared for restoration. Subsequently they found termite damage to add to the chaos. Our goal is to help Kevin and Carolina get back into their home as soon as possible and restore their quality of life. Funds raised will help them purchase necessary items to rebuild their lives.
